Cottage Information

Folly Gardens Cottage is a self-contained holiday cottage. It comfortably sleeps up to 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin (bunk-beds) room. It features an open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen and dining area as well as a comfortable lounge area with sofa, arm chairs and cosy fire. The cottage also has central-heating throughout ensuring it stays warm and comfortable year round, TV with video player and shower room.

Whitby and the Local Area

The cottage is situated on Green Lane, in Whitby, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the Abbey. It's situation makes the cottage the perfect place from which to explore Whitby and the local area including the beautiful North Yorkshire coast and the Esk Valley.

Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend are all only a short drive away and all feature spectacular scenery. Dalby Forest (again, just a short drive away) offers a range of attractions including Go Ape, and aerial playground, and miles of woodland trails to explore either on foot of by bike.

This area of Yorkshire is regularly referred to as 'Heartbeat Country' as the popular TV series is filmed in the town and local villages such as Goathland (a.k.a Aidensfield). The North Yorkshire Steam Railway still make regular journeys between Whitby and Pickering through the unspoilt moorland and is ever popular with locals and tourists alike.

Whitby is the perfect base for a Yorkshire holiday - we're sure you won't be disappointed!

Prices
